Hi, I’m Josh.
I'm a multidisciplinary designer and art director based in Washington, DC specializing in a wide array of visual and graphic design skills. Throughout my design career, I’ve worked on and led teams of 10+ designers doing work for hundreds of clients. Some of those clients have included: Axios, Boeing, Exelon, UBS, Blue Cross Blue Shield, LIV Golf, and more.

About the Site
I built this portfolio, as many people with portfolios do, to showcase my work. It had been quite a while since I’d last updated it and it was badly in need of a facelift. I wanted something that had a sense of space and movement, and felt almost like a physical, “real life” portfolio with full-screen, page-like elements that move and shift around. You’ll also notice the site is fully navigable with both arrow keys and scrolling.
Even now I’m not entirely sure I’m happy with it, and I’m sure I’ll continue to tinker on it into oblivion. But hey, that’s art.
Tools
This site was designed in Figma, and features visuals created with the Adobe Suite. It was built with Astro and Typescript, with assistance from Claude Code.
Typography
Headers are set in Instrument Sans, and paragraph text in Source Code Pro.
All files are served by Google Fonts.
